I didn’t just study this. I lived it.
I’m a nationally certified Physician Associate (PA-C) with a Master of Medical Science and a specialization in Functional Medicine (FMACP). I built my foundation in Emergency Medicine, completing one of the nation’s top fellowship programs in the field. It was a career I lived and loved deeply.
But over years on the front line, I faced a sobering truth: so many of the patients I treated were suffering from conditions that could have been prevented. The endless cycle of fluids, medications, and admissions, often for days at a time, became emotionally taxing, especially knowing the right guidance earlier might have kept them out of the hospital entirely.
Then I became the patient. I gained over 40 pounds despite eating clean, exercising, and doing everything “right.” I saw primary care, GI, and specialists, and no one could tell me why. I felt exhausted, dismissed, and stuck in a body that didn’t feel like my own. Exactly where so many of my patients were.
Functional Medicine changed everything. By addressing the root causes of gut health, hormones, stress, inflammation, and metabolism, I finally healed and reclaimed my energy, my body, and my confidence. That transformation became the driving force behind NEOS Functional Medicine.
Today I blend my conventional training with advanced certifications in Functional Medicine and Hormone Optimization for both men and women. My practice focuses on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (HRT and TRT), metabolic health, and root cause testing to help people not just look better, but truly feel better from the inside out.
What sets me apart is the balance of clinical precision, empathy, and lived experience. I’ve been the patient who couldn’t find answers. And I’ve built the practice that delivers them.
